Great events are the result of a wonderful environment and meticulous planning. TAPS, and our sister restaurant, The Catch in Anaheim, have hosted business meetings, rehearsal dinners, birthday celebrations and more. We can take care of all of your event needs, including:

Menu assistance: Our culinary team can design a menu guaranteed to impress your guests. We can even pair your menu with wines or even beers brewed by our award winning Brewmaster, Victor Novak.

Specialty linens: From formal to casual, we can create the dining setting that best fits the occasion.

DEPOSITS-PAYMENT

A $500 (non-refundable) deposit is required to secure your event. During te month of December a $1,000.00 (non-refundable) deposit is required to secure your event. This payment will be applied to your final bill. Upon completion of your function the balance will be due and payable by cash or credit card. Prices are subject to change. TAPS will honor prices based on the date of signed contract and deposit. _________(initial)

GUARANTEED ATTENDANCE

A guaranteed Guest count is due 72 hours or three (3) business days prior to your event and is not subject to reduction. Should a guarantee not be received, TAPS Fish House and Brewery will charge for all food and beverage for the original expected attendance or the actual attendance, whichever is higher.

Please be advised that the guaranteed guest count sets the anticipated revenue for the event. Labor and staffing is based on this count so even if the room minimum is met, the charge for the guaranteed estimated food revenue would still apply. The amount charged to the guest for no shows after guarantee would be as follows:

Plated event: Estimated revenue for food based on guarantee
Buffet event: Estimated revenue based on price agreed on for the buffet

For 20 to 50 guests, there is a maximum of (4) entrée selections. For groups of 50 or more, the selections will be limited to your choice of (1) salad, (3) entrees and (1) dessert.

TAPS Fish House and Brewery will be prepared to seat and serve a maximum of 5% over the guaranteed count. Should your guest count increase more than the 5% the night of your event, a $5.00 per person charge will apply to the added guest count. We reserve the right to relocate your function to a more appropriate space at our discretion. Reasons for moving your group to an alternate location would be based on weather or appropriate group sizing to the facility. TAPS management will do their best to contact you should we feel a move is necessary. ___________(initial)

SERVICE AND LABOR CHARGES

A 20% Service Charge will be applied to all food, beverage and other fees. California State Law regulation #1603g requires state sales tax to be calculated on all food, beverage, gratuity, labor, audio visual and rental charges. _____________(initial)

MINIMUMS

Private and semi-private rooms require a minimum of food and beverage sales. If minimums are not met, the remainder will be used as a room fee. The remainder amount will not be used as a credit to the restaurant, gift certificates, or substituted for take out food or beverage to meet the minimum. Please consult with the Banquet Manager regarding your specific minimum. ______________(initial)

BEVERAGES

Hosted Bar: Purchase of all drinks by the person in charge of the event. Service and sales tax will be added to the total of the bill.

Cash and Carry: Guest purchases their own drinks.

Corkage: A $20.00 corking fee will be applied.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

Should your function be scheduled in the Extended Patio, or Entire Patio when raining, you will have an option of rescheduling for an alternate date, or receiving your deposit back. The covered area is waterproof, therefore rain should not interfere with an event and a cancellation would be at the guests’ discretion. Cancellation clauses will apply.

DECORATIONS

All decorations, incoming equipment and entertainment must be approved prior to your event. For the safety of your guests TAPS Fish House and Brewery does not allow confetti, bird seed or exposed candle flames

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

We offer complimentary white linens. Optional colors are available at an additional charge. A cake cutting fee of $1.50 per person will be applied to cakes brought in from outside sources. Audio visual equipment, rental props and entertainment can be ordered and will be subject to a service charge.

*Customer agrees to the Room Configuration provided by TAPS Fish House & Brewery. There will be an additional $75.00 set-up fee for reconfiguring a room the day of the event.

EVENT COORDINATION

Personal attention provided by TAPS staff will make you a special guest at your own event. Our on site event coordinators have extensive knowledge and experience in planning all types of events and are happy to assist you. Please inquire about referrals of quality vendors of audiovisual equipment, florists, photographers, or any special event planning requirements.

INDEMNITY

TAPS Fish House & Brewery (or The Catch in Anaheim) will be held harmless for and indemnified against any unforeseen event that may force a permanent or temporary closure of the facility, to include, but not limited to: acts of God; (to include but not limited to fire, flood, earthquake and wind storm damage); a federal, state, or local disaster of any nature; emergency closure by a governmental agency; electrical, mechanical, or plumbing failure; loss of lease; sale of property; employee illness, strike, or labor action, and/or any circumstance beyond our control not listed herein. _____(initial)

LIABILITY

Customer agrees to be responsible for any and all liability and damage done to the premises during the period of time for set-up, the actual event, and tear down by customer, customer's guests and customer's suppliers and other third parties who are present at customer' request. The facility is not responsible for any damage or loss of any merchandise or articles left on premises prior to, during or following the event, including but not limited to personal articles, cake decorations, props, equipment, etc. _____________(initial)

TIME LIMIT

There will be a three (3) hour time limit placed on all Private parties. A two (2) hour time limit placed on all semi-private parties. Should your event extend beyond the originally agreed upon conclusion time and is approved by management, you will be subject to a $100.00 per half hour fee.

FOOD & BEVERAGE CONSUMPTION

In order to control the quality of products served on our premises, and to insure that all legal requirements concerning health department and government regulatory agencies are met in a professional manner, we must insist that the patron or any guests or invitees of any function do not remove food or beverage from the restaurant. TAPS Fish House & Brewery has the right to remove any guests under age 21 found drinking on the premises during a private event. TAPS Fish House & Brewery has a legal responsibility to refuse alcoholic beverage service to under age guests. If a legal age adult is found providing alcohol to a minor, the legal adult and minor will be removed from the premises. _____________(initials)

It is the policy of TAPS Fish House & Brewery in accordance with state law to refuse alcohol service to a guest who appears to be intoxicated. If service is refused and an issue arises, a manager will enlist assistance from the event host to solve the issue. If the issue continues, the guest will be asked to leave the premises and the event may be terminated. _____________(initial)

CANCELLATION

If a group cancels after a deposit has been made, TAPS Fish House & Brewery will retain this deposit for another event in the future. Deposits are non-refundable. Should an event cancel within 72 hours of the event date, the group will also be responsible for 50% of the agreed food and beverage amount of the event. _______________ (initial)
